A person's ecological footprint can be computed using this website by answering a survey sheet. The "ecological footprint," a concept first created by a Canadian Professor named William Rees. This ecological accounting tool is an innovative method of measuring the environmental impact of human activities. The ecological footprint is the area of biologically productive land and water area needed to supply the resources and assimilate the wastes generated by that population, using the prevailing technology.
